An old Japanese coin is seen from a distance, barely visible. The coin's circular outline and some of the main patterns on its surface (such as the numbers in the center and the cherry blossom design) are just barely discernible. The entire surface of the coin is a microscopic world, as if seen through a high-magnification microscope. The surface of the coin is covered with blue-green rust, and has several irregular holes. Inside the holes stands a futuristic city made of metal, like a diorama. The scale of the city is compact to match the size of the coin's holes, but it is densely packed with skyscrapers and complex structures, and the fine texture of the metal and faint lights can be seen here and there. Inside the holes where the city exists, on the surfaces of the city's structures, and even on the flat parts of the coin's rust, numerous metallic lifeforms with insect-like exoskeletons live, much smaller than the city's structures. Their body lengths are only a fraction of the city's windows, pipes, and other structures, and they appear to be small dots moving slowly. Additionally, several mantis-like metallic lifeforms, about the same size as the city's larger buildings, are lurking atop the city's spires and targeting swarms of metallic lifeforms. With their sickle-like front legs and compound-eyed heads, they carefully observe the gaps in the city and the movements of the lifeforms. The color of their bodies is adjusted to blend in with the color of the metal and rust that surrounds them. The cherry blossom patterns on the coins appear weathered, like the decorations on giant ruins.
