A world war 2 battle field, soldiers fight in trenches during a pitched battle of the allies versus the Nazis. Instead of tanks and planes lumbering steam powered mecha (British) and nimbler diesel fueled mecha (American and Nazi) fulfill the same role. Clunky huge hydraulic mecha with cannons and machine guns. The ranks and file soldiers have uniforms that are a blend of steam punk and WW2 tech. Pitched battle on the outskirts of a war torn city.
